Evil
Recently a 10 yr old child was killed as policemen say, "viciously" by his 17 year old brother a few towns over. It got me thinking, why would someone do such an act? Whether it be out of hate, unexplainable rage, misunderstanding, or just for fun, no one deserves a fate like that.
I used to work with this teenager, a little less than a year ago he quit, but no one really understood why. And through the time between there and now a few co-workers and I would try and get together and catch a movie with him. Granted nothing ever seemed to work out, something had caused either this boy to change or at most show how he really felt inside.
After I looked up in the break room and saw what had happened to this 10 year old I was shocked to know that someone I thought I knew well would develop into this kind of person. After hearing the county prosecutor say that the killer was "evil," and that he was a mess, a disastrous teenager. I sat and began to think, Is anyone really evil? Yes, what he did was wrong but in some strange way it seems like I can't accept that he is ONLY because I knew him as a person before hand. But that just makes me realize that I should not judge someone by there outward appearance in a good or bad way because it could be the complete and udder opposite.
